The Playskool Mr. Potato Head Star Wars: Darth Tater Toy was a very nice purchase. It is Mr. Potato Head in a Star Wars Darth Vader outfit. It functions just like the original Mr. Potato Head. I purchased it as a novelty item for my desk, and it gets noticed pretty quickly. It draws a lot of comments and people do notice it.

It is a definite must for the hardcore Star Wars fan. It makes a great gift. Construction is pretty solid. It is made of plastic. It looks very cool. And, there is no mistaking that it is a Mr. Potato head and that it is a Star Wars novelty item.

It comes in the retail packaging box for the toy. It is Playskool product. It was an excellent purchase that I do not regret. If you can get it at a good price, grab it.

I definitely recommend Darth Tater for the Star Wars fan. Amazon has it at a fair price. If you have Amazon Prime, the 2-day Free shipping is very nice.

This one is so fun! I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas. The helmet can be tipped backward or forward a bit. When you tilt it forward he looks menacing and angry. When you tip it back he looks surprised. It's really funny. The one fault I would say is that his light saber weighs his arm down, it can't stay up. And there's one 'mystery' to him; he has extra holes for his arms, but the way he's made moving his arms up and down doesn't really work with the mask, so I don't know the point.

Well fourth of may come around, and I saw a picture of this on Facebook and thought it was amazingly cute! It;s my first Mr.Potato Head (yes, yes, I know! But I lived in India until recently and no one thought of selling these there!)...I love it! Its awesome and is going to be on my desk at work so I can see it and think "May the Fourth be with you!"

I think it'll make a fun conversation starter and is great for any Star Wars fan...who also happens to love funny toys ;)

As a Star Wars fan I wanted to get this for my desk at home. I have been very happy with it and my kids love playing with it also. It is a fun, toy!

The only problem I have had is that the arm that holds the lightsaber is not very tight. The result is that when I put the saber in his hand it doesn't stay in the position shown in the picture. Not a huge deal, but thought I should mention it.

This was the cutest thing! I bought for a nephew, but when I received it, I didn't want to give it to him! I thought my own children would have liked it even though they are older, but they are at the in-between stage where they are too old to play with it and not recognizing the collector's item it might be in the future. My nephew loved it!

Awesome novelty, I bought it for a Christmas gift for my Star Wars fanatic of a four year old. My only problem is that the light saber doesn't fit in the toy's hand well. One hand obviously isn't for holding the light saber (you can see in the picture that only one hand has the "kung-fu grip") but the hand that does hold the sword holds it very loosely and if the light saber isn't in the sweet spot it just falls out. The arm also does stay out-stretched it just falls to the lowest position. Other than that its an awesome toy for display and amazon has it at a great price.

My nephew holds this and runs around saying "bom bom bom ba ba bum ba ba bum" trying to emulate the star wars tune. Great for teaching him the anatomy of darth vader and familiarizing him with a light saber. I really wish the light saber turned on. My nephew kept trying to turn on the fake switch on the side and he loves buttons and switches. It is what it is. A potato head that will last forever that looks like vader. sweet.

    Where do I begin?

As I sit here hiding at Fairview mall, I panic for my life: this toy isn't all it seems... Let me take you back to last week.

It was a joyess day after seeing the fresh Amazon package sitting on my doorstep, rushing I side I opened it up and there he was, Darth Tater in all his glory. Being an adult I played with the toy for a bit, commanded armies of invisible troopers and then got on with my life.

Thing started to get weird. Random sounds of zoosh and low lit red lighting was evident to the senses. When I was sleeping I would often be woken to the sounds of heavy digitalized breathing...

I thought it couldn't be? Your right I didn't leave the oven on - my Darth Tater had developed an army of storm troopers in my very own home and was slowly embarking on building his own Death Star in my garage! Over discussion he demanded Luke or the force will prevail upon me - no way was I giving him my son, this things crazy.

This brings me back to the start of my story. Me and my family hiding at Home Depot in Fairview mall, specifically the deep frier section, preparing to take on Darth Tater and his army. Wish us luck!

Overall 8/10. Good quality and a great one week life threatening adventure
